Several years ago we had a fatal crash of a critical Exchange server and the backups were all screwed up so the logs didn't match the database. Normally a situation like that results in just cutting your losses and starting from scratch with nobody's email restored and most likely termination of my job. The company would have lost millions of dollars due to lost contracts, support billing, pending sales, time, schedules, etc.. I wasn't about to give up that easy. There was no choice but to do everything I could to get as much of the company's email back as humanly possible, as quickly as possible. I worked for 3 full days straight, under the absolute most intense pressure, and not a single break. I know the feeling bro'! I got 100% of email back, minus any attachments in messages. Whew! What a looooong day that was!
