Dude... a lot of people bash Boss...

But I have one of their amps (Boss 1200M) that's SUPPOSED to do 600 RMS @ 1 ohm. Now, it can run 1-ohm for a while, which is impressive since it only cost like $100 bucks (On my 6 hour drive, it only went into thermal protection once. I'm gunna add an amp rack and fans when I get the money. That should help it)... but, I have bad electrical up front (brokeashell) so, it gets voltage drops all the time... and after more than a year of constant use, it's holding up. The heat sink is actually rattling off. XD

I mean, they don't make really good quality stuff... but it's decent quality. Good quality for the price. But you get what you pay for, you know?

What looks good about it exactly? The now oh-so-common fully enclosed motor structure and incorporated frame? Type R's have had those for years now. Its all black at least, I'll give them that.

No the 200oz motor the 3" Aluminum Coil, The pressed paper cone that is what looks good on it... Usally u dont get a 3" coil on junk like this... I would say its a decent entry level sub and I bet ya it would get loud...

IMO i think this would and could outperform the DD sub your talking about....

It's funny how all these horrible company's are trying to get people to buy there stuff by just trying to make it look good cosmetic wise. The sad thing is , so many company's are doing this;(

Seems like a nice moofer for entry level, but I'd be willing to bet you push it much more than RMS, it'll cook fast.

Very high sensitivity though!
