I want to get 13-14 volts

I got a 2005 Impala with a stock alt about 90 amp. i plan on running 3 yellow tops, 1 under the hood 2 in the trunk. i will be running a HK4000d and a RF T400-4. Help plz

i plan on getting one but with just the batts would i get 13-14 volts? or is there some way that i got to wire them to get it?

Umm what? 12v batteries will charge at 13-14 volts. Just wire them in parallel. Eventually your alt will fail trying to charge 3 yt batteries constantly

Yea, a HO alt, upgrade all your wiring the best you can and you'd probably be fine but on a burp it'd be hard to hold around 14V, you'd need mass charging...I'd say more like 12.8V if youre pretty solid on your batts (with the car running)

Thanks i did not know that. I do plan on upgrading the alt to a 250amp will that be big enough?

To stay near 14V for burps?..no. But for daily driving yes you should be fine with this setup.
