I apologize for the cliche dane cooke quote.
Anyways, i just woke up and had an idea, wanted to see what others had to say.
I was thinking about how kenwood and a few other manufacturers have employed this new 'advanced codec drive' or something like that, which allows you to use this software on your computer encode a little tag on your cd's with the proper pronunciation for the titles of albums/artists/song titles, so that the head unit can speak the titles accurately, and let you keep your eyes on the road.
Anyhoo, i was thinking, how great would it be if you could tweak the eq/crossover/other settings for your head unit on your computer for any particular song/album? Maybe i'm crazy, but i think that would be an incredible feature, which i think is doable by all means with mp3/wma/other cd-rom based discs.
I know i'm not the only one of you who's anal retentive about tweaking everything just right between albums, and who gets annoyed when you pop in a new cd, and everything sounds like CRAP/you have to turn the bass down because the sub sounds terrible, etc. etc.
AND now that companies are coming out with amplifiers that can be controlled by the head unit, every aspect of the system could be tweaked by the software.
I honestly think this feature would be worth it's weight in gold. Probably should talked to a lawyer and gotten a patent or something //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif Cause i could honestly see this being the next big move in head units.
