I want a tattoo

but im not really sure what i want. i really like crosses and some of the artistic stuff artists do with them and i think i could add dates later on to make it meaningful (birth/death dates) but im not really too sure. i was thinking a big cross taking up a majority of my back or chest. anyone have cool ideas? pics wouldnt hurt either

IMO the best idea is come up with something meaningful before you decide to put it on your body for the rest of your life. For example, I think it would be really cool to have a giant sponge bob square pants across your back when you are like 60 years old.

thats why i said a cross and add either my childrens birthdates and/or my moms bdate/death date when she eventually passes away. (hopefully many years from now)

Does anyone remember Sonic the Hedgehog?A good friend of mine gt that tattoo when he was 19.......still got it too.He got it when the game first come out over 20 years ago.....not something he gave too much thought to.THINK FIRST.It MUST mean something to YOU.Dont go for trendy....trends come and go.....just my .02

I take years to figure out what I want before I do it. There is an artist on my forum that has done a bunch of art work for people, then they can take that art work to their local shop that they trust.

In my opinion a full body Maori tribesman, or Triad gang style body suit are the only tattoos I'd get.

give your ideas to a tattoo artist and have them design something for your taste. that way you can still make changes to it before you get it done. since you want to add on make sure you tell the artist that you want to expand in the future. giving him your ideas of what YOU like(not anyone elses tattoo so its strictly on you) and he should be able to draw something up to your liking. hope that helps.
