I took my IDMAX out of the garage to clean it up to start using it again...

and just for the hell of it, i decided to plug my dvom into each vc to check the resistances...

on both coils i'm seeing 1.3 ohms and paralleled i'm seeing 0.7.

is my sub damaged? will this in any way damage my DLS A6?

That's fine, your measuring DC Resistance which is lower than what the impedance will be.
