okay so i'll disconnect the power cable tomorrow and if i still have a charging issue i guess i'll just get a ho alt. Advance wanted 150 for a refurb alt, that's outrageous. if so should a 200 amp alt give me some room to grow my system? cause as of right now i know my car needs more mids i think highs and lows are fine. But my car already has amps for the mids so i'll be disconnecting the factory ones and replacing them with whatever i find. but i can get a 200 amp alt from dc electric for $200 or a 250 for like $260. my only concern is about the company they say a 1 year warranty but i've never heard of them before one guy talking about them on this site. here is a link to the 200 amp version DB Electrical - Ford Mustang 200 Amp High Output Alternator 4.6L 96 97 98 7776
