well today at work i had to pull an 8 hour shift which was open to close and they started to send home cashiers home and a bunch of other people and then they sent home all the people home in my section so it was just me so i was like fvuk this i quit an just walked out

plz post storys of your jobs you quit and there were alot of other reasons but that was the one that ticked me off today

well one i need to get back on track with school its my first semester and i messed up so i need to do better but i am finishing up my A+ certification so im gona study for that and hopefully get a job fixing computers what i love doin for now its gona **** bein broke but that job sucked

no its the fact im always closing alone which i shouldnt and second i couldnt take a lunch or anything believe me there are more reasons im just stating the one that really ticked me off today an the pay sucked 6:50

i quit a job once. the manager was an ******* and wanted me to put 'some pep in my step'(actaully told me that). always gave me shitty hours. like less than 20 a week. and was always on my *** if i ever conversated with other female employees. i quit before he could fire me and gave him a piece of my mind before i left too

Thats fair enough than. If it was just the one reason than Id think you were just crying over spilled milk but if you are constantly being shit upon and abused than I totally understand

well i bought my dlp screen yesterday and athe guy at circuit city said he was quitting in 6 days and was very happy about it

yes the walkout part i regret i wanted to give them notice but they whats the word abused me to much? so thats what they get

i had something along the same line..i worked at a carwash. they would always give me crappy hours..not too little..too many. they would always say..oh we schedule you for so much because you need the money dont you? but it was alwats because i was the one who worked my *** off and did the job of like 3 other people plus my own. i had requested a day off for something important like 3 months in advance and they approved it, then the day before my boxx was like no you cant have it off you have to work..and i was fed up with everything. like you said there were numerous excuses..i worked there for a year and a half. so i waited for him to go to lunch that day (after taking $50 everyday OUT OF THE REGISTER for lunch like clockwork) waited, told my manager what i was doing (he was cool), he went home first so he couldnt be blamed..i sent all the employees home that i could (i was a supervisor), sent everyone home, waited for the work to pile up with no one to do it, waitied for my boss to come back and he came to me b*tching about what happened and to make me do all the work, told him what was up and left.

we're at the age where we can find another job no problem.

BTW: that place has been open for 3 years..and has already gone through 500+ employees and the boss cant figure out why
