A buddy of mine asked me to help him out with his computer. He wants to format the hard drive and reinstall. I told him his restore disk should have an option for that. Well, it doesn't. All it has is reinstall/repair windows. There is nothing to the effect of format and reinstall. All the computers I have had, has had this option. What do I need to do. I don't wanna f up his computer and not be able to use it at all. His computer is a Compaq Presario R3000 laptop if it matters. Thanks!!
