Hybrid is a great company

The incredible sound and clarity these speakers give are just amazing. I have them being pushed to around 130watts.

I'm just blown away by these speakers and it's not even tuned yet at all with crossovers and running off a stock HU with the new precision power bk800.4 black ice amp. Amazing amp too! (thanks nismos14!)

Im sure everyone here knows about them and of course there are better speakers that are more expensive but I really beleive these are the best 200 dollar range speakers. and i know alot of you have a lot more expensive speakers and tuning setups/crossovers blah blah as well but for me im new to car audio and its the best upgrade ive done to my car so far!

well, check out the vid! (taken with iphone 4)

Again like I said, i didnt even tune it at ALL i just plugged in my amp and turned up the gain with my DMM and played the song

I still need to hear a set. Jus don't see myself dropping that kinda cash on em though....
my vid gives u pretty good idea on how they sound. and as you know they will only sound way better in person. i dont think 200-250 is THAT much for a great set of speakers

my youtube link is in the first post

It's too much for me when it's a coax.i don't doubt they're clear, but, that can be had from a lot of speakers. I just don't see a set of coaxs in stock door locations imaging all that well. If I spend 250, I want a comp set.

Just my 2 pennies

this is a component set. you can switch it from coax to component.

i have it running as components now

I know they can be switched. The tweets don't seem too loud separately? Every review I've read has said so
no they dont they dont sound too loud and harsh and they dont fatigue my ears. plus if they do you can turn down treble and you can also wire the tweets seperately on an amp giving it less power. theres ways around everything

I'd still like to hear a comparison with these and the CDT's of comparable price.
I cant seem to find the specs on their website, what is the rms OP?

Continuous Power Handling (transient music input) 100 watts

Recommended Power Range 20-150 watts

from the owners manual
