Well then... I know why my bass music hits a wall on the high bass. Its the way I have it set up. My JBL 12's were crossed over at 120hz with no DSP. My current 10's are crossed at 65hz and play up to... 65hz then drops off sharply. I just put tracks from Bass Boy's album in Audition and analyzed the bass frequencies. Typical range is mid 30hz - 110hz with the majority of the upper bass being betwixt 60 - 112hz. So I am missing SO much bass it's ridiculous. My silverflutes couldn't cover 60 - 112hz at the volume of my subs if their lives depended on it. What I am going to do is cross my P3's up to 120. Re-EQ the sub bass in the DSP so that the entire range from 20 -120 is 10db above the mids and as flat as I can make the curve. Be back soon................
