do YOU know how many ricers i've personally wasted in my truck???? they pull up beside you at a redlight revving their lawnmowers, then all they see is my tailights pulling them with 250hp.

My mom's '03 Honda Odyssey makes that much horsepower.

im more of an american car fan as opposed to asian but there are quite a few tuners that i havent seen better than. my best friends brother living in hawaii now has a skyline with 915hp. he also has a 500hp srt-4. ill try and get pics from him today if hes not working. cant wait to go for a ride but anyways i have major respect for those cars. some acura with a shitty bodykit revved at me the other day on a major road near my house the other day. i raced him and won..twice. and i was in a 2002 xterra with 4 people in the car and 2 12"s.

Since there's this hate-on for certain cars, what I can't stand are those stupid little crap boxes with the expanded tailpipes (you know what I'm talking about).

By the time they reach 4th they are FINALLY doing 30mph. And they think they're real cool by tromping on it to make their tin can sound louder.

Very annoying.

I wouldn't know what kindof numbers Mom's van is putting down at the wheels.

I do know that it will give the driver 125 of the speedometer's claimed ability of 140mph and though it was a bit unstable (topheavy freggin minivan) had the platform been capable the drivetrain felt as though it had more than enough left to go ahead and shove the needle to the peg.

Does that make it some kind of badass ride?

Pfft.

It's a Honda Odyssey.

But if you're going to bother to invest the effort to brag about horsepower levels then come with some worth bragging about, okay?

not bragging, but most AMERICAN cars come stock with what the ricers have to add on to get. JUST A FACT. my Sonoma is stock except for the K&N typhoon cold air intake.....it came from the factory puttin down 225...not bad for a V-6 considering old school mustangs (5.0's) from back in the day put down 225 with the V8. (you know evryone thought those mustangs where the sh!t back then)

Its not just the imported cars tho. Many buy these mufflers or expanded tailpipes just to make them "sound killa".

Frankly, I think those dumb things generate more noise than loud stereos..
