I have the Viper 590XV and now want the Viper 5900

All the wires are the same but on a 590 you don't need door triggers and the siren output is used for horn. The antenna is also different.

I would say that change out would take about an hour.

Really thats pretty nice. So is their anything special I need to know about swapping the 590 to the 5900 since its 2 way?...Im about to getthe 5900 just want to make sure. also how many sirens can the 5900 handle? I want to add alot of high power sirens

good luck programming the new brain, its no fun if you don't know what you're doing/ don't have a DEI bitwriter. Most alarms can handle only 1 or 2 sirens from the siren output, so if want any more than that you need to add a relay. You should be able to easily power 4 or 5 sirens off 1 relay..
