Go bigger 8's or 10's. Or put them in a better environment sealed pods or really deadened sealed doors. Not going to gain much by just swapping 6.5's.

I have 4 Sundown E'8s ported and the doors have 2-3 layers of deadening.

I have debated ripping the stock pods out and doing something out of MDF. Any suggestions?

are your doors deadened at all?

or is it the tweets that arent good enough?

Are they amped?

yes they are deadened with 2 layers. The tweets are fine. And yes they are amped.

Go with the id cts65cs set (I think thats the model, in my sig)

I just upgraded to them from a set of rsd's, both sets of which off of 130w a side. The id's sounds SOOO much nicer, and make the rsd mids seem like they're barly moving haha
