I have a power problem... Very detailed/easy to read layout

Here is my setup.. not exactly, but basically what is goin on with my wiring:

anyways, My system hits as it should... but the interiors will cut out at times... like the amps power off... then a couple seconds later they power back on...

sometimes they wont power back on for a good couples minutes.

but i was doing the math, and it seems like i need a total of 260A in my trunk... but under my hood (BRAND new batter put in) im only sending 250A to my secondary battery in my trunk... it seems like mysecondary battery doesnt really DO anything... cuz its SHOULD have a "stock" of charge to give the amps power when they need it...

but i thought if i was only feeding my secondary battery 250A... as my speakers are trying to pull 260A out of it... then its not really doing ANYthing at all...

should i put a bigger fuse under my hood? and feed the secondary more than needed amps? is that safe?

If its a fuse problem you would blow fuses...Sounds more like the amps are over-heating because you have the gain all the way up, or they are cutting off because you do not have enough power

Yeah, I dont think they're overheating...cuz i have proper fuses on all of them... plus I've never had this problem before until i set up my new distroblock...

I think they dont get enough power... since the subs are gettin 100A each... which leaves 50A... but each 300w amp needs 30A each.. so I'm 10A short...

Well start by changing the distribution block then

Um...first of all you subs are NOT getting 100a each. That's like 1500watts each...your fuse is only to protect your wires not your amp. Current isn't your issue, its your voltage. Either your electrical system is droping voltage below 12v or u are overheating your amp by droping your ohm load to low. What kind of anp and subs and or speakers and what's the impedence of these speakers?

Also, please read up on the difference between wattage,current,voltage and resistance before someone starts bashing u on here. Not tryng to be a dousche but your idea of how car audio works is off.

... hmm... it was my understanding that 100w=10a ... so since the two amps are 1000w each, and the other two are 300w each, that equals 2600w, which is equal to 260A... right?

Running multiple amps? If so running them all off the same remote wire? Had a simular issue come to find out my remote wire wasent sending enough power to keep all my amps on so at random times my 2 channel amp would shut off then turn back on. Worth a look at.

I have done this also, you will need a relay to run yourr amp to wire.

No, ohms law is power/voltage=current. Thus 2600watts(power)/14.4= 180ampers of current at peak wattage withh perfect voltage and no voltage drops along the electrical system or run of wire and connections. Also bu deffinetion subs do not consume amperage they use power. Your amps however do use amperage and produce power(watts). Thus you stating your subs are getting 100a is grosslly incorrect.

Did u know that watts(the guy) also created horsepower. When light bulbs first came out they were rated in hp..until watts changed the game and created watts law...
