Resonating Reticular
Some of you might flame, but I just needed to vent and everyone else I know is in class...
So, I decided to vent here.
For the past 4 years of my life, I've been in side-splitting pain day in and day out due to a severe case of Gastritis and a EXTREMELY severe case of acid reflux. Normally, when people get an excess of acid, it goes up into their esophagus, and we call that 'heart burn.' Mine goes to the back of my throat and also down into my intestines.
So, I've been taking medication for that, and it's been good. But, I got one prescription filled, that said it had another refill on it, so I didn't have to call the doctor again for the next two bottles.
Those two bottles ran out, and when the pharmacy went to call my Doctor she basically shrugged and said, "He's 18, not my problem." [she's a pediatrician]
So, for the last few weeks, I haven't had my medication, and because of it, I'm losing sleep, my food isn't settling properly, and I have to avoid certain situations that set me far away from a toilet, if you know what I mean. At one point, I went a while with out my meds because I was having this rebellion thing where I thought that my body could overcome anything and I was superman... that ended with me on the side of the road, throwing up a copious amount of blood proceeded by a 3 day stay in the ICU and then a 11 day stay in basic care being closely monitored.
So, basically, if I don't get a prescription in the next few weeks, I'm going to disappear for a while again.
Now, flame away if you must.
