Their work was not predictable though. If they were good and in demand for the skill set, they may work 40 weeks a year if they wanted. If they taught low demand classes they may only teach 15-20 weeks a year.

That's still atleast $75k/yr..

i would rather do a little work than sit on my *** all day doing nothing. that would get boring real quick

i work from 12pm-5pm daily and get paid in the $15-20/hr range for doing fairly light work

sleep late, work and still make happy hour;)

i too have a company cari have all year round. no gas money needed plus i work about 30 hours a week and get paid over 41 an hour. i drive about

3.5 hours and work 2.5 hours a day. I do physical labor work but its easy as long as ur semi strong.

I used to do the same and get paid $14 as an intern. Once I started full time things changed and now I actually work. I cruise the usual sites occasionally, and get ~$28.50/hr to do so. And that's in Alabama where life is cheap. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I will say that I much more enjoy being busy than forcing myself to stare at the same crappy build logs for 8 hours/day. No matter what the pay. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

What sucks is if I work for the state of Mississippi as a forester with a 4 year degree, i will only start out making something like $32,000 a year. The current salary working for the state as a wildlife biologist with a master's in wildlife science is just like $38,000/yr starting out. That is the route I plan to follow, but doubt I work in this poor *** state.

Let me re-phrase my job description just for you, so I dont get outdone on the net LOL....

I am AWAY FROM HOME about 20 hours a week, do NO physical labor.... chemistry and consulting is my job in a nutshell.. If not for me (or my competitors) not too many places would exist, you'd be amazed how much any building, power plant, manufacturing facility depends on properly treated water just to function.... then its off to the gym.

Word.

I usually have a decent amount of down time at work but I'm always looking for something to do to keep myself busy rather than sitting on my *** like everyone else I work with..
