I found my dog

My dog died years ago and I kept the ashes to bury, but I lived in the city so I couldnt immediately get out of town. I ended up moving before I could and lost/forgot them in a box.

I found them yesterday so I can finally lay my dog to rest under a nice tree overlooking green bay on the nature preserve I live next to

I'm gonna take a 12 pack of beer, my bb gun, a shovel and make an afternoon of it

Somehow this is making me sad even after all these years:crying:

i thought about taking the jetski out and pouring them in the middle of the bay this summer, but i want someplace i could go back and remember him at

i may just pour them around the base of a nice tree near the edge of the point where i live

i didnt forget about them, just never had time to sift through all the boxes and find them, i have moved 7 times in the past 10 years so i really never unpacked before

there is a nice big tree on the edge before the shell beach that gets a great sunset everyday and it is only about 1/2 mile away so i can visit
