I found a Nazi pin in my dads old stuff

He's passed away so I can't ask him about it, it was in a box with various old pins and badges from military's from around the world. The only marking it has is on the back it says W14. I don't know were to start looking for information on it. Every combination of words I can think of invariably takes me to website selling white supremacist paraphernalia.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif So anyone have any idea where I could look to find out more about it?

No thats defiantly not it, as my dad was born a few years after the war had ended.

Maybe, I don't remember ever hearing about my Grandfather fighting in WW2, but I could be wrong, I have his autobiography stashed away somewhere, maybe that will provide some insight into that.

that's pretty cool... my grandfather was a dentist for the army and he brought back some nazi memorabilia like badges and playing cards with swastikas on them...

Thanks. I combed the site and they didn't have anything like mine that I could find. I sent them an email with a picture, description, and measurements, hopefully they can tell me what it is.

Actually, the Swastika we've come to know is a corruption of the original symbol, which appeared to be turning counter-clockwise (vs the nazi swastika's clockwise rotation) and originally was a symbol for peace.
