Well - just one of em. But I've been lookin for an excuse to to get some new shit anyways so its a good thing.

Now - I need recommendations!

I for sure want 2 12's. Have 500 watts to give each one. I'm more of an spl guy than sq. But I dont want whatever I get to sound like total crap like the audiobahns. Oh yeah and my limit is 300 bucks for the pair.

What should I get? I'm leaning toward the L7's but dont know what else out there compares... suggestions, comments???

Might be out of your price range. But 2 12' Soundsplinter RL-P's would be perfect to give 500 watts to each. I have a pair myself and push 500 watts to each sub. Sound Quality is awesome and I come home with head and chest pains frequently.

Polecat? Is that eBay seller genuinely an authorized Kicker B-stock & refurb dealer? True warranty coverage and all? I'm always a bit dubious about such claims by eBayers. Obviously HiFiSoundConnection has been around awhile (eBayer since 2/01 with 26K + positive feedback) but that can just simply mean they have decent business practices.

Im not polecat but i know that they are authorized, Look on kickers website under authorized internet dealers, HiFi soundconnection is under there.

u could possibly try to snatch u some avalanche 12's if they are still in stock. but yes 2 rl-ps's are def not fitting a 300$ limit for both.

question. is there any major difference on the original l7's and the newer models? Just asking because some of the old models can still be found on ebay new in the box for cheaper than the new ones - obviously...

So if a guy came across the old model at a nice price any reason to not snatch it up?
