Just download the hottest albums, and let it seed for a while. Then download some of the stuff you want, let it seed for a while. Eventually you'll be built up to the point where you'll have a constant upstream.

my brother in law says any of the Rosetta Stones are always his goto seeds when he needs to get his upping ration up a little bit. you might want to try that. one of the more common languages like spanish or german or something...

Thats what somebody else told me. Download just one of the languages because the whole thing is too freakin huge. But its supposed to be a great one to seed.

download a program to convert flac files or something. i did that and i leeched that one program to about a 450 ratio.

i currently have a 2.xx ratio overall.

x2 on the FLAC program. I had a .022 ratio and was on the ratio watch uploaded 2 files and got up to a good ratio in a few days.

I started off with a crappy ratio too. Downloaded the stuff I wanted, and believe it or not actually uploaded a few albums that weren't on there.

But the ones I uploaded really don't help my ratio as much as seeding all the stuff I've downloaded. It takes a while at first to get that ratio up though usually. Don't sweat it.

I make a mad cool mix tape of different songs and label it some funky name like

"Da Daves Mix Tape volume III"

and ppl download that like mad..pretty SWEEEET
