I don't know how much room you have for a box (sealed or ported). I have two 12w6vs's sealed in 1.17^3 each with a little over 650w each. I am truly suprised at these woofers, I have only used JL for the past 7 years. I did have the v2's on a JL 1000/1 gain set to JL specs. This amp will push these subs fine. I am in the process of upgrading my sub system. After extensive research and hearsay, my debate was between 15"XXX, JL 13w7, and Eclipse Titanium 15". I can't remember the price I was quoted for the XXX's I'm thinking $400 plus shipping each. The w7's, for a warranty, you would have to purchase authorized at around $800 each. I purchsed the Eclipse Titaniums from a well known stereo shop for the sum of $499 each + tax with a 3 year warranty. There is not another manufacturer that I can think of that even offers a 3 year warranty on their equipment. My suggestion to you is shop around listen to people and to subs before you purchase anything. Keep in mind that you will probably want to upgrade in the future.
