You should man up and realize that life is not inherently unicorns shitting rainbows into your day. Life is hard in just about every imaginable way. The more your fight it the dumber and more depressed you become.
Embrace unpredictability, accept that pain and difficulty is inherent but SURMOUNTABLE, and figure out what DOES make you happy and do that whenever possible.
