It is a one bedroom apartment. Unfortunately my parents would not get me a mortgage for a new house like yours. Besides I'm probably not going to make a career at this job so I'll just rent and decide later.

It's not a good idea to invest in a home at this time here. They are at an all time low, but I am not sure if prices will ever rise in this area, and I don't plan on living in it long enough to see. When my lease runs out, it'll be around the time I plan to move to Minneapolis. With my new job I make enough to afford mortgage payments, however housing in my situation seems to be a bad investment.

i made 10k just buying my place.. let allone all the stuff i have done to it so far.. and the thing's i plan on doing in the future..

a finished basement should add another 8-12k,

going to be tinting the windows on the house hopefully tomarow!

i have exactly 1000sqft too, but 400 of it is not finished ( basement) and the other 100sqft is the garage..
