hu skips chapter 2

so it was skipping b4, possibly becuz of lack of bottom mounting brace. so i slap the brace in their cpl days ago, its VERY secure now.

**** things still skips when played at high volumes, and rarely any other times. my warranty is good to 2008, should i go ahead and get the same unit? or try to upgrade?

this hu cost me 150$ so if i can upgrade i will have 150$ store credit, at best buy, but thats not much buyingpower there.

is it an Xplod?

ive seen hu skipping at hi volumes but it was because of the subwoofer vibrations

the other one i saw was a pioneer 4600mp which i had no idea why it skipped

try shutting off the sub and see if its still skipping... if its the sub thats making it skip id contemplate getting a new head unit that doesnt skip as much because of the sub vibrations

lol thats the problem, i dont even have a sub right now. no not an xplod either, its a aiwa, playes mp3's dont know the model number.
