I got a 5.5 cube box tuned to 32hz and this thing slams. I imagine a 4 cube box would be similar. Does ur total volume include your ports or just the air space?

If you can make a SnailShell, you will be surprised. I had a 12 CVR in one and it sounded AWESOME on 200 watts.

MORE port area moe? a 4.5x15" port okay (65 sq inches)

21 deep X 33 wide X 16.5 tall

To make it just cut out the top and bottom (33x21)

Then cut out a bunch of 15" strips and make it from there. I have a cut sheet for the 15" SS somewhere.

will that work well with the CVR? cuz im reading snailshells have to be tweaked for certain subs.

It worked fine for mine. It was probably around 3/4 as loud as my brahma in a 3.5cube box on around 600 watts.

Not sure how to calculate them, I just got the plans off of a site. If you want I can build you a snail shell for the cost of wood and shipping. If nothing else, Its only 25+shipping for a fun box. I have plans for the 12 if you need them too.
