Dump the lanzar and dump the pyramid, and oh yes.. dump the pioneer speakers also (all of it)

You should first make up your mind about what YOU expect out of the install. Buying Pyramid (or lanzar, less bad but same evil) is just throwing away money, they arent overrated, they should not have been rated at all because most of them will loose against a pricey HU without amps....

Anyways, the pioneer speakers are an option, they are just good altho I would recommend JBL speakers couz they are in the same price range but yet have a far better SQ.

If i'm getting you right then you just want a good quality sound with a boom without paying shitloads of money for it. The concept that is written below is based on a good installation with 6 speakers and 1 sub

Front section:

- HU remains as you have chosen

- 1 set of JBL 25w rds tweeters

- 1 set of JBL P7532 2way speakers

- 1 Caliber remote controll device (bass hertz + gain controller)

Rear section:

- 1 set of P9633 3way speakers

- 1 Phoenix Gold Tantrum 600.4 amplifier

- 1 JBL P1220D subwoofer (400w rds, peak 1600w 1 - 4 o)

- 1 Trimode filter

For such install to kick *** you'll need to understand "trimode"... Basically what a trimode filter does is separate High Pass and Low Pass signals. You would set all your normal speakers to HP meaning they will receive no bass (altho you always can bring in a little through frequenty tunings) and the sub will receive the LP, no high just bass.

Normally you would set your amp to HP or LP to match the above but due to the trimode filter you wont do this and you would leave the amp at normal (HP+LP feed). The speaker cables from you amp go into the trimode filters who splits it up into 4 connections for HP speakers and one connection for a LP speaker.

With the amp I noted above this would mean you would have:

75w per speaker RDS

600w RDS per sub

The 75w can also be set as 2 x 50 and 2 x 100 + 1 x 600, note that all phoenix gold amps are underrated so u'll probally even get more then this.

Editted: the tweeters go on the same amplified cables that comes from the amp towards your front speakers, its just "tapped" off...

PG aint the only brand with the trimode feature, just mail any brands office to get the specs for trimode, they are mostly not on the internet
