hows my frontstage look?

When stage 2 comes around look into making a speaker baffle out of some MDF of some high density plastic to put some 6-1/2" or 6-3/4" speakers up front. I got 6-3/4" speakers in place of my stock 5x7's just gotta make em work.

Start doing some reading, searching, and asking about active setups and start budgeting for round two. You will need some processing to get started, can either get this done from your HU or from some amps. Can get some good deals on used equipment off this site too (everything in my sig was used from here except subs.)

If you can go active then you can get a pair of ID OEM mids and Seas Neo tweeters and be golden.

What truely matters though is that it sounds good to you, take some pics of the stuff installed and report back on how it sounds.

Yup, exactly. I'll tell you, your first system is 100 times better then my first few attempts. Like I say, learn from installing all that stuff, and you will slowly be able to replace the crap in the car with better stuff. As well as be able to add to the install with better stuff, such as sound deadner, and processors...

Have fun with it. That's what it's all about.

why do people research AFTER they buy
see the thing is i did research before i bought. i was going to do a 15"nightshade and a sundown1500... then my dad bought me a truck and traded in my car so i have no room for a 15" i was waiting for months to save up for all the stuff and to get my new car. when i was given a truck i was already fed up with waiting so long then having my plans thrown out. so i threw something together in a week and because my lack of expereince and knowledge i wanted to use the factory door spots for the time being
