[QUOTE="AudioHobbiest, post: 8855632, member: 688316"] 1) The noise gets louder, and I can hear the engine shift through the speakers so i am guessing that it is a bad ground. I need to find where the installer grounded it, and try to find a better ground. 2) Yeah there was a red wire that does send power to the head unit but that is not what was causing the issue. I have even figured out that when its not hot outside, I still need to disconnect the battery to get it to turn on so I guess its not an overheating issue but some issue with that tiny device. I can remove the headunit to show you guys it 3) The amp gets really hot and now after driving and listening to music for about 20 mins (This is a new problem) it smells like burning plastic.
