i have 1 12in( re audio se) running off of a kenwood kac9102d. i dont know what the settings do on the amp or how i would fully tune it . where should the bass boost be? where should the input sensitivity be? where should the other setting be if u can help please do so thanks alot

OK well, Try to keep off the bass boost to start. You can tune various way. One would be by ear, and another would be using a dmm. With ear you play a song that you know how its supposedto sound bass wise. And keep turning the gain till you hear it clip, then your gonna wanna to turn it down just a little bit. You do this with your volume 3/4 up too. THere are also test tones you can play but you do those with the dmm. Search to find out how to tune with a dmm

what edzactly does bass boost do?? i need to max this amp to make these speakers work to there best ability lol. i wish i had money for other amps but i just dont have the cash. so another question( might be dumb) but what edzactly is clipping?? is it when the bass stops and u can hear the sub clap and move over the bass( eliminates bass??)
