So until I can afford to replace the whole system in my car, I am just going to be putting in my sub and amp. The problem is that the stock Bose has no pre-outs, I have read that I can take the low level input to the Bose sub amp and splice a pair of RCA's into this that will give me a signal to my amp. But, I have no idea what to do with the RCA's, all I have read is to strip some of the insulation from the RCA and splice it to the Bose wires. Are there only 2 wires inside of an RCA and is it obvious which is ground and which is the signal? This is for a 2004 Nissan Maxima with the crappy Bose system. Thanks.
