how to judge power restrictions

I'm trying to determine if i'll have enough power in my car to run my system..

alternator is 140/160

total watts from 2 amps = 975 so we'll just say i'm running 1000 watts

what do we use to determine this?

u should be fine. That plenty for 1000 watts, some ppl run 1000 watts on 70/80a alts. If u do have any dimmin, which u shouldnt, do the big 3
