Budget is 1000 but I need a subwoofer which I currently don't have. I'm also planning on some kind of sound deadener but what after that?? I could afford an IDmax but I just dont know.....does it really sound THAT good. I would love a 3 way component set but dont want to bother with fiberglass and such...

try movin up to 2 way active and see how you like it.

For Sq, go active for sure. If you can, seal them doors up or get pods so that your speaker are on axis to you, Ib that Idmax and kill that that rear fill, are some ways to sound better.

Ive got a reg. cab truck cant go IB w/o cutting a hole in the cab and im not doin that...I have no rear fill right now, it just is like an oc thing and bothers me that i dont have n e speaks back there. Im gunna seal the doors up as much as possible and pods would be great but I honestly dont feel like messing with fiberglass right now and Im not payin somone to do it.

Some closed cell foam in your doors to stop noise reflection or dynozorb.Maybe move up to 7'' or 8'' inchers and some some tweeters that can be crossed low for you 2way.

when going active what would the ohm loads of the tweet and mid be for the slc's? Im not familiar with closed cell foam.

Closed cell foam is type of foam that doe not get damaged or mold with moisture, which is good to use in your doors right behind the speakers on the door panel. It is to help sound not reflecting back to your mids. some people use an egg carton sprayed down with spray paint.

4ohms + 4ohms on one channel should = to 2ohm load.
