how to get rid of annoying spyware and popups

well i let a friend of mine borrow it and i think he did bc it was working fine b4 he used it but he swears he didnt go on **** sites

and it pisses me off i just had a new motehrboar put in the computer

no i put a motherboard in it bc it went bad and then i let him use the computer for like a week and i get it back and its slow and has spyware all on it how can i make it back to the speed it was when i first got it and how can i clear out the entire computer

Never ever ever ever let friends use your pc without you there. I left my pc at someones house since I was going to move into another house the next couple weeks, well I accidentally left the computer on while he was there and I wasnt, and I come back and the screen kept flashing, and everytime I click on something It would not let me do it and flash more. I walked away and come back to see the screen is blue and flashing. Luckilly my mom knew how to fix it whew. But lesson learned, dont let friends use your pc, its called a personal computer for a reason

ok thanks does anyone know how i can reboot the whole computer to where its all the originial stuff that was on it when i first got and nothing else

If it was a preassembled computer (Dell, Gateway, etc.) then you should have a "restore CD/dvd" that has the original image of the hard drive on it and can put it back to the way it was rec'd. But you will lose everything

EDIT: I was beat to it
