How to get creases out of vinyl banner?

I received a 5'x2.5' (or something like that) vinyl RE banner today. It was folded nice and neat in the box, which was no problem (cheaper shipping obviously) I've never dealt with this kinda material before, so how would I go about getting creases out? maybe setting it in between heavy books or something?

Lay it flat out in the sun or in a warm area.
yeah i was thinking about that because the box sat in the sun all day... I think thats why it stayed a bit creased in the first place. I might try the iron thing later though idk... just dont wanna melt it or anything //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

i was joking. it will melt it.

try parking a dumptruck directly at the peak of the crease. it will work (thats how i get the wrinkles out of my pants)

Don't put an iron directly to it. I've done this before. Take an iron and a piece of the brown paper like grocery bags are made of. Rip out an oversized piece od the paper and put it in between the iron and banner. Set the iron to steam and keep it moving until it removes the wrinkles. You always want to keep the paper btwn the iron and banner.

It works perfect.
