Okay so I was looking at rings today for my girlfreind and all the questions that I was asked I could not answer. So I though I would try to trick her into telling me what she likes. I told her that I was at the mall and someone was outside the jewelry store asking abotu what our girlfriends liked and I told her I did not know what she liked. But she did not buy it she said that she is not telling me and that I can not afford to buy me expensive things. But I still need to know what she likes. Any suggestions?

Just look at what stuff she already has, that will give you the basics, all your really need to know is if she likes gold or siler. After that it's easy, all girls love jewelry. But don't overspend, she obviously knows you can't really afford to splurge on her, so just wait for a good deal at a local store. I've gotten a couple really nice rings for my gf that were less than 50$ and they looked great, she can't tell how much I spent on them, and that doesn't really matter because she will just like the thought of it. If she is the kind of girl that wants you to spend a lot on her then she isn't worth it, and you should dump her, lol.

x2 if you do buy her a ring, just make sure they don't hint/tell her that they helped you out... Happened to my brother before, was gonna propose to his GF and her friends told my bro's girl that they helped him pick out an engagement ring.
