how to avoid blowing pico fuse help

How do I avoid blowing the pico fuse in a head unit.

Ive blew two units already in 3 weeks.

Never had this problem before.

Both headunits are kenwood.

I made sure the car was off the second time but it still blew the fuse

How can I avoid this please help.
