How thick at a time can I apply Spectrum? Im using a Brush. Can I dump it on?

I wouldn't dump it.

The "best" method I found when using a brush is to do multiple thin layers. In the heat & sun a thin layer will dry very quickly....within 10-15 minutes. If you are doing a good sized area, by the time you finish the panel the section that you started with will be dry. So you don't have to sit around waiting for it to dry....you can pretty much continuously work on the panel.

I did the dump-n-spread method with a brush.....didn't go so well. If you put on a very thick layer the top will dry before the bottom will, so then you are left with a tough film of dried spectrum on top and pudding underneath it. It will dry eventually, but takes a pretty long time (days).

how does spectrum dry compared to the edead v3 that i have. i did a test on sheet metal and basically what the v3 did was make it more ridgid. is that the same thing the spectrum does?

it all drys hard sorta like bed liner.. The brushed on stuff is taken awhile to though i did a thin coat for my 1st layer. Took 2 hours but that might of been due to the fact I painted it at 6 am when it was cool out. It's about 90 now and it's drying faster. I'll check on it tomorrow and let you know if dumping and waiting works. what's V3?

Basically the same, but Spectrum dries to a more flexible, plastic/rubber consistency. I can't remember how drying times compare, but eDead contains a noticeably higher water content.
