How much will crack or rip diminish subs?

I have two P3 12s and the one has a rip in the foam on the side the other has a crack in the center display where the Rockford logo is displayed. My question is how much will these blemishes hurt my sound quality? I didn't care before as I wasn't pushing much power through them, but now I have gotten a bigger amp that will push them more. Are they worth keeping or should I invest in new subs? I would like to have a nice quality sound system and have been looking at the INfinity Kappa Perfect 12 VQ which is a little out of my price range currently, but could afford them after a couple months of savings?

if the rip is small it wont hurt sound to much on P3s (dont sound good to begin with) if the crack gets bigger it will sound like **** and very noticeable

get rid of them... look around the classified here there is a bunch of nice stuff for good prices
