I want to buy an MTX TA7804 but i am unsure if that will be enough power. Te reason i want to buy the TA series amps is so it will match the sub amp i have (TA81001) So, is this enough power, too much, or should i go higher? I can buy this amp for $255 shipped. What should i do?

Thanks

Well, id prefer to just do one amp for all speakers, and one amp for the sub. I don't have all that many places to mount amps. I already have one, that's for the sub. I am already out of room, but i need a 4 channel for the pro's. $255 max, is really what id' want to spend. BUt i like to keep matching amps because people can see them.

Yeah, well you can do the 7804 but you won't be getting every last ounce out of the Bostons. It's just a sacrifice you'll make to have matching amps and some space left //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That's what's hard about car audio. You have to cut some areas out to gain in others.

Nice, how do you think they will handle 300 watts, i dont believe that it is a true 300 watts, but somewhere near it? Will they distort, or begin to "cook"? Because at the moment i have a crappy lanzar vibe 286 sitting in my trunk, and im getting it all hooked up tomorrow. I know that you can tune a 500 watt amp to work kon a few hundred watt systems and be fine. Should i be okay, because i know the pros like power?
