How much power I can get out of this amp

The amp is a SOUNDSTORM FY3001D the specs are:

3000 Watts X 1 Max power @ 1 ohm

2200 Watts X 1 Max power @ 2 ohm

1700 Watts X 1 RMS power @ 2 ohm

1200 Watts X 1 RMS power @ 4 ohm

How many watts you think really I am going to get from the amp and how many from the sub., I am planing to put this amp with a V815D2 visonik 3000w sub, do you guys think it is a god couple?

you would just look at the rms for the amp and the sub if the rms on the amp doesnt exced the rms on the sub then your good

Actually the amp says 1700 rms @ 2 ohms and the sub is rated 1500rms dual 2 ohm coils

its probably a little overrated, so be harsh and say 80% of suggested RMS, set your gains right and you should be fine.

A single D2 sub will only wire to 1 or 4.
