how much power for 3 10" '05 kicker comp vr's?

my friend just got an new tahoe and put 3 12" kicker comp vr's in it. It gets very loud and sounds good. I am thinking about getting 3 10s for myself but have no idea how i would wire them and what kinda power i would need. I was thinking something around 1000w rms

ANY suggestions on a amp to power 3 10" comp vr's??

if your gonna use the amp specifically for subwoofers, then mono definately.

make sure to match up the Ohms as well. keep in mind mono amps cannot be bridged.

wait...before you go with the kickers how much are you wasting on those kickers?

cause if you want something louder then his 3 12"s let me know....what are you looking to get out of your system exactly?

i want it to be loud and clean (not that rattling bass) but im going with the 10s bc space is an issue...not sure about sealed or ported. Ill make that decision once i get the woofers. Ikesound has them for $68!! Ill have to look around some more and i never know maybe sounddomain will give me them for cheaper with the price match policy.
