I have T-mobile and a sidekick... I Flexpay... pay for my month in advance like prepaid.. but ive been interested in the Ipod Touch.. and heard the iphone is the Itouch but except with the phone part... and currently Tmobile is crap in my area always get dropped calls.. and i end up paying around 80 bucks a month for 300 anytime minutes and any 5 favs and unlimited txt/pic/web/AIM... But im sure i'd be alot happier with AT&T.. But with Tmobile i didn't have to pay a deposit because of Flexpay... I really have no credit.. what kinda of deposit do you think i would have to pay for a line with AT&T? i know i need to get down to AT&T and find out just havn't had the time probably will get a chance to go soon though...

Pretty sad to not have enough credit to get a phone contract.. Regardess.

If you have your own equipment and dont get a phone from att,, you can get a contract but not be bound into 1 or 2 years and can pay monthly and cancel at any time. A lot of people dont realize this but it is true. I think in this case it may be possible for people with weak credit to get a line. You should ask about this.

Well, hate to pay 500 bucks to get a iphone.. wouldn't mind paying 199-299 for the phone and be in a contract... and ive done everything to raise my credit.. but everywhere i go they say i don't have any credit at all... ive payed for my own cell phone bills for over 3 years.. never missed a payment.. also had a checkings account sense i was 16.. i'm gonna be turning 22 in a month..

I have T-Mobile, and used an iPhone, until it went through the wash. Everything worked fine on it.

You can apply online for phone service through AT&T, within 3-4 days it'll tell you if you have a deposit, or not. I was going to have to pay a $200 deposit, but with T-Mobile I didn't have to, and I don't have Flexpay. Sprint, I had a $800 deposit, and Alltel I had a $300 deposit. It's ranges differently through each carrier.

well been looking at prices on ebay for iphone 3g unlocked it ranges from 600-700 bucks.. but seen a brand new iphone 2g for 450 brand new unlocked... Huge difference between 2g and 3g other then memory?

Post on craigslist, or on the forums, unless you HAVE to have new. You should fine one much cheaper than that.
