How much is this worth?

Eventually... in the next month or so I'd like to build a wall with 4 12's in the back of my truck. I'm looking for SQ, but want to get loud. I already have 5kwrms in my monoblock, and some components up front. I'm putting in a new alt here soon.

I picked up the 12w3 in perfect condition off a guy for 30 bucks... had to get it cuz I knew it was a great find. He also had a couple jl amps I had to pick up even though I didn't need em' in my install. Just too good of a deal.

5k will be too much power for 4 W3s.
I figured they wouldn't handle it.... I also figured I needed to pick it up for only 30 bucks. I tested it out, looked it over, etc. It came in a nice prefab box I can probably sell for what I paid for both on the local cl.

I can get rid of both my subs and get some that'll handle more power. I was thinking of 2 incriminator 18's or some xcons. I want to go with a couple 18's, or 4 12's/4 15's. The cab of my truck is small though, right now I have 2 12's in a prefab box and the sub is almost touching the back of my seats.

I also can't figure out how to mount my 6.5"/1" components when the truck has 4" midbass, and no tweeters. It doesn't have much room to fiberglass (and I've never fiberglassed)

In the end you would need to consider a budget for what you are looking for. Also consider your overall goals and what will actually fit in the area you have to work with.

Figure those things out and then look at product or we could offer up what some of us think will work to fit with in the answer to those questions.

Budget for subs: 600. Could go up if I really need to.

Budget for alt: 550. I've been talking with Mechman to find an alt that will work since the housing on mine is too small to be rewired.

I already have the amp 5000rms @ 1ohm, 1ohm stable. Or I have a few other JL and Rockford amps that are a little smaller... two 1000rms rockfords I could run for 2000rms.

I've already got a lot of help on these forums, just haven't gotten a straight forward answer of the direction I should go. I've done research but for my application I'm not sure what's best. I have about 8-10 cu. ft to work with (estimated by how much room I have left with 3 cu ft in there.)

What 5k amp do you have?

Also, for space you are better with measuring the area you have and doing some simple math to see what you have to work with. Nothing is worse then buying gear that won't work correctly in your application.

Also, I didn't see or maybe I missed it, what kind of vehicle do you have?

Yup. Mazda b2600i extra cab. So you know about how much room they have. How well did 3 15's do?
Mine was a burp setup only, never meant to play music. So that is a bit irrelevant lol.

Are you wanting to stay under the window line? If so I would consider something like 3 12s personally.
