Lol I guess 200 is a bit high but those older HD3's are solid subs, I think more solid than newer ones

i think my hdc3's are very solid....if the others were better yet, than I would be impressed

I have read a few places that they were as solid if not better, Im just curious. I have never considered running one till now. I like the looks of the older ones though, 4 spoke basket, DD looking motor. I know they are the same buildhouse...

Ya, a Buddy of mine had 2 15'' hd3's in a regular box (not walled or nothing) and he hit a 150 on TL, subs are solid man. There was big hype bout hdc's when they first came out but nothing lately..

Don't know what they are worth but I have used both the old and new. The new are definately louder and haver better authority throughout all the frequecies but the old were definately the loudest subs I had owned until I got the HDCs. But I have heard the complete opposite from other people, it really depends on your install, power, and vehicle
