how much db increase from a 120rms to 150 rms amp?

I got Polk 6500 and 5250 comps on a MBQ 4125 (had already). The comps can handle 150/channel. How much louder can I get? I got 2 mm15's on a Boston GT2200 @ 2ohms.

Your not gonna find anyone thats gonna seriously tell you how many db's louder you'll be using component speakers, we only measure db's using 20-80 hz frequencies which are for subs, not separates.

You may hear a slight difference in the cleanliness of the sound , but not the overall loudness.

Thanks. I went to run errands and put the treble @ +2 on my HU (+6 max). It is louder; should I worry about damaging the tweeters?

On paper doesn't mean a thing. And .97 isn't anything your going to hear. And what org do you know of that measures db's outside of the 20-80Hz range?
