how much clean power will one Orion HCCA 15.2 take daily?

Ok, I am willing to overhall my voltage completely and run a good line driver, keep that in mind.

My question is simple how much power can one Orion HCCA 15.2 handle over prolonged periods of time? I understand this will be a rough estimate, but with a clean signal, proper tuning, and a bullet proof charging system, how many rms can one of these babies carrry without burning the coils up or popping out of the basket?

I currently have one brz2400, which will soon be strapped to another for 4800 watts at 2ohms

but i'm just getting started, my summer goal is a 10k car(not sure on amps yet), I want to run 2 Goliath 15's or one beefy *** 18 tuned for super lows

I need advice how to optimize my build for spl, I am trying to formulate a plan, but this orion setup needs to appease me until I step my game up

The amp you already have is plenty for it for daily. I wouldn't run over 4k on if for anything but burps it is not meant to handle that much.

I would just run the one BRZ on the HCCA for daily, not many 15 can handle 4800 watts daily.

I would go with four 12s over two 15s or a single 18 for 10k. You could use roughly the same space, have more cone area, and its going to be easier to get four 12s that will handle 2500 daily vs finding two 15s that will hand 5000 daily or an 18 that will handle 10,000 daily.

one of my bros got his hands on a 15 inch Soundstream xxx, im not sure where the hell hes getting 8k rms from, I assume the depths of his rump, but I myself Am butthurt right now. So I am assuming he will find something like 5k rms for that sub. So now i gotta come up with something that will do higher numbers on a meter, I figure 2 orions would slam on 5-6k

I was doing 4 8s on 7200rms daily they played in the 150s ...it beat th' hell outta much bigger systems.....

For better SPL numbers find the resonant frequency of your car, build a box tuned to that freqeuncy. Single reflex bandpass can boost 3-10 dB. May not be so pleasant to listen to however.

What is the outside overall diameter measurement for an HCCA 15 ? They have the mounting hole listed as 15.079 so outside like 16.5 or 17"?
