We are out of Springfield MO, And yea the shops aren't filling you in accurately on that, the termnlab magnum cant CLAMP a taramps, as far as seeing how much wattage the amp is putting out, it does not have anything to do with the ability to see how loud you are, so you can be metered just fine EDIT, didn't see everyone else's reply's LOL I'm not sure if its fully fixed yet, but there was a weird clamping issue where it was showing next to no wattage on some high wattage setups like only in the hundreds of watts area on 5k plus setups. It was causing delays and constant re runs. I've known the owner of Midwest SPL for 17 years, its nothing against the amps them selves, it was just causing a lot of inconstancy problems in the clamped classes. For example, best example I have is lets say the 4k clamped class, one guys clamping almost 4k at the limit, and the taramps user keeps getting in inaccurate clamp of only 200 to 300 watts and winning, there was no way to tell if they were busting out of the wattage class, and was obvious it was not only 200 watts. This was the issue that was happening frequently. A way around it would be to manually clamp the amp, but the Magnum being the standard and unable to be used properly was causing issues.
