Before goob changes it back to the old version of vb. there are NO users here like there used to be. Hopefully people adapt or goob changes it back and just makes sure the hosting is on point. Opinions?

Yeah, I have noticed in the short time I've been here that a lot of notable members have left the forum. It's kinda sad. I haven't seen Trigger around, or that Image Dynamics guy that did a RV build.

He is not changing it back. This is a software upgrade. As everyone can see, it is not finished yet. As for traffic, I don't think he is too worried about it as people will come back and new ones are always coming in.

thats the sad part, a lot of the members we have lost are very contributing members. I doubt this place will ever be the same, and i dont know if thats a good thing or bad thing...

I don't think it is that major. Many will come back. Regardless, the majority of the most valuable and positively contributing members left long before the software upgrade. Just like when the server crashes, or is too busy, as long as the site is up, people will come back and many will keep joining up. This is the primo domain name in car audio.

I've been here long enough to see this happen before. A lot of the older contributing members left and it seemed the forum would never recover, but new people are joining all the time. As these newbies come in, the older remaining members assume the contributing positions. When I first joined this forum, I was a complete noob, and while I certainly don't consider myself a car audio god or anything even close to that, I contribute whenever I can and like to think I help the newbies coming in.

Bottom line is, they're will always be people leaving the site (new design or not) but there's always others joining to take their place. And most of the real contributors (like denim) who really care about this site, won't leave it.

Besides, I love the new layout. The color scheme is a little bright for me, but I'm pretty sure before he's done, Goob will implement some way for us to change the colors. Part of that can be contributed to crunktimes being born. Most all of our legacy member who left post there now.

Also, some of our contributing members were banned as well due to a select few of our mods being ******s.
