how long it takes to transfer cell phone service?

now got an 04 grand prix
we had AT&T and switched to T mobile. they said after 2 days your number should now work on your t mobile phone. well for 2 of our phone it still has not changed over after four days:verymad: anyone know how long it should take? or have trouble when you switched to a different service provider?

 
Call them and ask, I have always had good luck with them and support (english speaking) is usually on the phone within a few minutes.
well that's good to hear. I'm going to call in the morning. but wanted to see if someone knew the answer. oh and the myfaves has not shown up yet either.

 
I always had good service till about 5 months ago, They tried adding charges for BS every month till I couldnt put up with it anymore. I tried disputes, and of course I lost and had to pay. I know this has nothing to do with ur issue, I just hate them. After 8yrs I hated to leave them, I just couldt put up with it anymore. I hope it all works out...

ya that sucks to hear. kinda sounds like why we got rid of AT&T but i wont get into that long story. im about to call see what happens.

 
Unless AT&T didnt release ur number?
ya they said that sometimes it takes long and they are sorry for the inconvenience and if i want to know the exact time they will transfer me to there portability department. but i said ill wait over night and see what happens. ill call back in the morning. thanks for the advice though:)

 
T-Mobile sucks. And I work for them!

When you call sales or support you are talking to people within my call center. When you need to do a UPS re-route, you speak to me. When your order is not fully processed, it's me that looks at it and determines if the order is fraud or not.

 
oh well. but are you a sales person. have u experienced any customers having my problem or anything like this?
No, I am not sales, nor am I a direct customer service agent. I haven't heard of that, but I dont deal with everyday customer service. Definitely give customer service a call though.

And BTW, I don't really think T-Mobile sucks, that was a joke. Each carrier has their good and their bad.

oh well ya ill call them in the morning. and ya ever service has there ups and downs.

 
well to bring this back up. i just got off an hour long phone call with there customer service. somehow they delted two of our numbers rather than transport them. so now they got to see if they can get them back. what a pain in the ***.5 days without my phone.
